Significance:
Clybucca Swamp, situated on the floodplain of the Macleay River provides a habitat for waterfowl. The wetland habitat type represented by Clybucca is essential for conservation of Australian waterfowl, particularly black duck, grey teal. It also has considerable value as an area for bird watchingas it is surrounded by high ground.

Description: Clybucca is a wetland area and contains several habitat types: paperbark (MELALEUCA QUINQUINERUA) forest, she oak (CASUARINA GLAUCA) forest, reedswamp, seasonal fresh swamp and fresh meadow. When the swamp is inundated it provides a first class habitat for black duck, grey teal, black swan, egret, ibises, heron, swamphen, moorhen, stilt, Japanese snipe and other coastal waterbirds.
